Lester J. Williams papers, 1853-1950 (bulk 1901-1950).

Chiefly certificates awarded to Williams for various appointments, achievements, commissions, and memberships. Photographs of Williams, the LSU Cadet Corps at the old LSU campus, and Wilhelm K. Roentgen, to name a few, are included. The postcard album, 1901-1909, consists of scenes of Baton Rouge and New Orleans, and the scrapbook (1853-1868) contains clippings of poems and pictures, manuscript poems, and pressed leaves. A pictorial booklet on Natchez and a program for Garden Pilgrimage Week (1932) comprise the printed items, whereas the printed volumes include a history of nursing, a military regulations book, and memorial addresses regarding Robert C. Wickliffe.

Dr. Lester J. Williams was Chief-of-Staff at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, from 1927 to 1946.
